XYZ Pick and Place Automation System

XYZ pick and place automation systems are widely used in industrial automation for high-precision handling, assembly and positioning tasks.

Y-Z pick and place arrangements can easily be extended to a third axis to create a complete XYZ pick and place system. In this configuration, the Y-axis is mounted at a right angle directly onto the X-axis.

Thanks to the modular design of the Jenny Science system, all required mounting holes, threads and centering pins are already integrated. The selectable stroke lengths of the individual axes allow very compact installation dimensions compared to conventional robot solutions.

It is also possible to install the X-axis in an overhead configuration. In this arrangement, the mounting plate remains completely free underneath the system, allowing parts to be fed and removed from all directions.

Front flange

The front flange enables different pick and place configurations. The front plate of a LINAX® Lxu axis is replaced by the front flange, which can be mounted directly to:

• an ELAX® electric slide (upright or horizontal)

• a LINAX® Lxc linear motor axis (F08, F10 or F40)

• the carriage of another LINAX® Lxu linear motor axis

This modular interface allows flexible mechanical integration when building compact XYZ pick and place automation systems.
