Video Overview

Nowadays, a wide variety of high tech products such as, watches, smartphones, medical probes are manufactured and inspected in fully automated processes. Here you will find videos with practical application examples and solutions about our XENAX® servo controller, LINAX® linear motor stages with force control technlogy Forceteq® basic/pro and ROTAX® direct drive hollow shaft rotary stages.

Introduction

In this Video you will see an Unboxing of an ELAX® electric Slide.

Inside there is the ELAX® electric Slide, cables, the XENAX® servo controller, screws for assembly and the EMV protection clasp.

Unique

No app to download, no license code to buy, no registration required. We will show you what makes our product innovation INTAX® stand out and how easy it is to set up. Let yourself be fascinated by the simplicity and precision of INTAX®.

In this Video a Jenny Science 3-Axis Linear motor Axis System is interacting with a Smartphone. Therefore our unique Forceteq® basic technology is used. The whole interaction and movement of the Z-Axis is force-based. We can control the force, drive with a certain force or even detect forces.

With the swing out reduction of the XENAX® Xvi servo controller the motion trajectory is adapted to reduce the swing out time at the end of a run. This function is predestined for dynamic loads or liquids which should be moved smoothly.

Forceteq® is the worldwide unique, patented force-stroke measurement technology which is integrated in the XENAX® Xvi servo controller. In this video a collaboration of linear motor axis and human is demonstrated.

Tutorial

Get to know our WebMotion® in this video series. It is our basic interface for communicating with our XENAX servo controller. After this video series, you will be familiar with the WebMotion interface and be able to use it.

In this video we demonstrate and explain the functions of the TÜV certified SMU (Safety Motion Unit) for functional safety. The four different functions (STO, SS1, SS2 and SLS) can be defined directly in the XENAX® WebMotion. The eight digital inputs and outputs can be used to configure the safety functions. It is a redundant system where two inputs are used for each function. The inputs are low active so any damage to cables or the like can be detected.

Functions:
STO - Safe torque Off
SS1 - Safe Stop 1, deceleration of the axis followed by shutdown
SS2 - Safe Stop 2, braking the axis and holding the position
SLS - Safely Limited Speed - Observation of a save speed, if speed is exeeded in SS2

In this video you will see the basic settings of the XENAX® Xvi 75V8S servo controller for Jenny Science linear motor slide. You will see how the payload is calculated and applied, deviation position and target and also advanced settings like stability, swing out reduction (see video Unique 2 | Swing out Reduction) and avoid vibration.

In this video you will see an initial setup of the ELAX® electric slide with the XENAX® servo controller. Within 5 minutes you are able to start any of our linear motor or rotativ axis and controll them simply by using your Webbrowser.

Application examples

Nowadays, a wide variety of products are manufactured and inspected in fully automated processes. Fast and precise linear movements are a requirement and ideally the movements should be sensitive and controlled. This is what the new linear motor slides ELAX® from Jenny Science make possible. The magenetic direct drive linear motor allows to precisely complete and control movements at the same time. Thanks to the sensitive force registration the linear motor controls, monitors and limits forces in processes and recognizes process errors automatically.

With the XENAX® Xvi 75V8 servocontroller and the optional PROFINET busmodule, it is possible to move the Jenny Science linear motors LINAX® with a PROFINET Controller.
No matter if cyclic syncronized mode IRT with Siemens SIMOTION or positioning mode with Siemens SIMATIC, the compatible XENAX® offers indivual solutions in your familiar programming environment.

This ultra-compact X-Y application with two LINAX® Lxs linear motor axes and a rotary linear motor on the top simulates the frame inspection of a smartphone case. It is a new approach to move the product rather than the camera.

As this X-Z Pick and Place Handling demonstrates, these highly compact LINAX® Lxc linear motor axes are not only dynamic and precise but also clean room compliant.

Our LINAX® linear motors can be directly screwed together slider to slider, for example for dynamic gantry systems. In this gantry application the interpolated motion is programmed with our XENAX® servo controllers and a superior PLC.
